The Recovery Festival is a Family Fun Day

he Swindon Borough Council Public Health Substance Use Treatment Commissioning Team is working in partnership with Change Grow Live (locally commissioned Treatment services), as well as other local Partners to bring you this annual event, among whose aims are to:

  • raise awareness of substance misuse issues that affect individuals, their significant others, and also the community at large.
  • celebrate recovery and encourage more people to make positive and sustainable changes in the lives.
  • promote the local treatment offer for those in need of treatment and support engagement activities

Swindon Recovery Festival:

Venue: Town Gardens, Quarry Road, Old Town, Swindon SN1 4EN

Date: Saturday 28th September 2024

Time: 14:00hrs – 18:00hrs

This is an inclusive family event in collaboration with Partners. Activities include:

  • Delivering alcohol brief advice and support
  • Health and well-being information and advice
  • Disco in the Park
  • Refreshments for purchase
  • Alcohol intoxication simulators
  • Club Soda: non-alcoholic beverage options
  • Entertainment (inc. games, face painting, and bouncy castle weather permitting etc)
  • Open mic session & Recovery Talks
  • Branded giveaways
  • Free candy floss for the first 100!
