PLEASE ALLOW BETWEEN 3-5 WORKING DAYS FOR YOUR REPEAT MEDICATION REQUEST TO BE ACTIONED
In light of the scheduled closure of the POD and due to errors that can be made, we are insisting patients use more secure methods listed below to request their repeat medication.
- Via Systmone Online– This service is directly linked to patient medical records and will ensure a much more accurate way of requesting medication. To sign-up to this service and to avoid problems obtaining your medication, please see reception and provide one form of ID. - Via the NHS App– Owned and run by the NHS, the NHS App is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet. The NHS App is available now on iOS https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/nhs-app/id1388411277 and Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nhs.online.nhsonline&hl=en&gl=USTo request your repeat medication, you will be required to have a ‘Systmone Online’ account (see above).

- Via Email – you can request what you need by sending the practice an email.to ashington@nhs.net once received your request will be processed appropriately if you have provided ALL the following information:
- Full Name
- Date of Birth
- Your Registered Practice
- Nominated Pharmacy.
- Full Details of Requested Items (name, dosage, quantity etc.)
Our reception team have been instructed to respond to your email to ask for any additional information if you have not provided the above details in full.
ONLY REPEAT MEDICATION REQUESTS TO THIS EMAIL ACCOUNT WILL BE ACTIONED. PLEASE SEND ANY GENERAL ENQUIRIES SEPARATELY TO general.ashington@nhs.net
- At the Surgery– Repeat slips or handwritten requests can be placed in the prescription drop box located inside our main entrance on the wall which is clearly labelled.
